the Fedora 14 have a ant 1.7.1 for default, then yours can compile this source and install.
Making this upgrade the problem will be solved.
Make download from http://s390.koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=46861
The packet haves +/- 5mb, just install and compile.
Note: Do not worry about being the S390 and F15, install and compile the install normally
the resulting packages should be:

I have the same problem, when I tried to build Gdb Helper I got the fallowing error:

I have followed correctly all the steps (Qt Creator installation, Necessitas SDK installation, also I have the Android SDK installed) until here (Configure Qt Creator).
Here when I open Qt Creator and I go to "tools->options" there is not any "android tab".
Could you tell me how to make that android tab appears in Qt Creator tools->options?
You already have QtCreator, and script necessitas lauching wrong QtCreator. You must lauch from /opt/necessitas/QtCreator/bin folder.
where it takes a commands to build gdb? I want armv6l architecture
I have successfully installed Qt Creator and Necessitas etc and created a simple program with only one "Quit" button. The program can be run in the simulator without any problem but when I deploy the program to my Archos 101, the text/caption on the button disappeared, I only got a blank button. I have tried a lot of difference font but still nothing change.
Anyone got any idea? :)
No matter where I install the sdk versions 10, when I try to set the SDK path in the QT/Android options, it gives me an error (as an example):
"/home/mgreene/android-sdk-linux_x86" doesn't seem to be an Android SDK top folder
installed jdk6, reinstalled necessitas in /opt/necessitas. Still get the same error in Necessitas QtCreator when trying to set up Android paths. It still says:
There are 3 directories in the sdk install :
I am not sure if it is exactly the right place for asking questions about the Windows installer, but I couldn't find a more appropriate one.
On a Windows 7 64 bit system with already existing Qt SDK 1.1 I installed Necessitas using the installer. Got a few problems:
1) When trying to build debugging helpers I get "make not found in PATH" and indeed it is not in path (though command lines from Qt SDK 1.1 certainly have their own make added to the path)
2) In the settings in the Android tab And location is empty and I am not sure it exists anywhere on my Windows
3) When using Wizard for creating an app (I chose Qt Quick Application) I get the following
No Qt for Android SDKs were found.
Please install at least one SDK.
All in all it looks like something that Necessitas expect is missing from my computer. Should I install some system-wide MinGW, ant and Java before going for installer?
My main development machine is Mac, I use Windows only for generating Symbian builds, so except for Qt SDK 1.1 it's mostly clean
Hi I've just installed Necessitas on Windows 7 x64 SO.
However two things were weird:
1) The examples in the welcome page say Examples Not Installed.
2) All of the paths were allready configured in the Qt Tab and the Android Tab.
So I create a new Qt C++ Gui Application and add a button and a text edit. I want to compile that just to see if it worked and I get this error:
Running build steps for project Test...
Starting: "C:/Users/Ariel_2/necessitas/Android/Qt/4762/armeabi-v7a/bin/qmake.exe" D:/QtAndroid/Test/Test.pro -r -spec default

Could not start process "make" -w
Error while building project Test (target: Android)
When executing build step 'Make'
Do I need to install make? Or is there something else that is wrong?
Thanks for any help
I'm sorry if my message was sent twice it's just that I don't see it in this page.
Just something about ant on ubuntu 10.06 : "packaging error /usr/bin/ant debug failed" -> need to be manually to updated as http://my.chinaunix.net/space.php?uid=7448773&do=blog&id=175476 . Download apache-ant-1.8.2-bin.tar.gz and replace files in /usr/share/ant
