We are currently preparing the first binary release of the engine. Because of that, there are many changes in the datapack, and the one that you find on Sourceforge is antiquated. The planned release date is the 3.03.2003 (or earlier). Perhaps there will be a new datapack in the meantime.
The Neverending ODC C++ coding conventions for the client/server are now online and can be downloaded from the homepage (http://www.neverending-odc.de).
The World-Editor project is now on the CVS server in the directory worldeditor.
It is completely written in Java and you can create small landscapes for the Neverending ODC client with it so far.
The features are currently:
- Load terrain texture sets from client XML texture databases
- Texture the terrain and change the terrain height (still very simple but it works)
- Load an image as heightmap for a terrain
