I'm getting an ever-increasing "Invalid misc" count from iwconfig. Has anyone
seen this? Any suggestions of what to look for would be greatly appreciated!
Here's my setup: Dell Inspiron 5150, Fedore Core 2, kernel 2.6.8-1.521custom,
ndiswrapper 0.10, Broadcom BCM94306 (Dell TrueMobile1300). (I also see this on
Redhat 9 w/2.4.22 kernel).
I loaded the R76521na driver, and am able to get an address thru DHCP. After
that, the connection is sporadic. Link quality is good, but iwconfig shows the
"Invalid misc" field constantly increasing, and response times are quite slow.
I've scanned the iwconfig and ndiswrapper code to find out what that means, but
haven't been able to pin anything down.. I've also tried changing the frequency
-- no difference..
btw, my Orinoco-based card is working just fine on the same system.
