I have a D-Link 520+, which is based on the ACX100 chipset. There is a Linux
native driver, but it works very badly, so I'm trying to use ndiswrapper.
I'm finding that the driver loads successfully and everything seems to
work, but the card appears to transfer no packets.
The really odd thing is that this card used to work fine with ndiswrapper.
It suddenly stopped working one day, and I hadn't touched either the
kernel, ndiswrapper, or the native driver. The card works fine from Windows
and works badly using the Linux native driver (ping reports lots of
I'm currently using the latest XP NDIS driver for the card from D-Link's
website and ndiswrapper-0.10 on 18.104.22.168.
Does anyone else have this card, and has anyone had any luck? What kind of
information should I be looking for to find out what's happening?

I've finally had success with this: the D-Link 520+ is identical to the
TrendWare TEW301PC (same pciid and everything). That driver, which is
...works fine. I've updated the Wiki with the information; the D-Link
version is probably more common than the TrendWare version.
It's interesting that D-Link's driver doesn't work and TrendWare's does. I
would have thought that they'd both be based on TI's reference
implementation, but obviously not...
