I noticed that the order of parameters matters. Sometimes, when changing
from drivers versions, I need to change the order of some parameters to
have it working back again.
Is there any reason for that or is it just a result of bugs?
Is there any prefered order to specify the parameters?
iwconfig $ETH essid $ESSID mode $MODE channel $CHANNEL key $HKEY
ifconfig $ETH $IP
Is this right? Should I specify a command for each parameter?
Sometimes I need to reissue the iwconfig again after the ifconfig?
Should the ifconfig come before iwconfig? BTW I have defined in the
router access restrictions based on the IP addresses.
Thanks for any enlightments. I know nothing about this stuff except for
