I\'m currently trying to get ndiswrapper and a Zyxel G200 usb wlan device to
The driver needs two currently unsupported wrapped functions: memchr,
I\'ve made a (rather simplistic) patch (against 0.12) to add those
I admit, NdisOpenProtocolConfiguration ist implemented in a quite sketchy way,
but i don\'t know much about NDIS\' use of the windows registry nor about the
config handling in ndiswrapper.
So the driver now at least gets loaded and initzialized by the usb subsystem.
but it still doesn\'t register a netdev. and if we do a \"lsusb -v\" the console
used to start the command freezes.
By adding a few additional DBGTRACE1(...) it seems like the call to
miniport_init in ndis_init_one_usb does never return.
Can you suggest how to proceed to debug this problem?
I hope i didn\'t forgot to include some useful information.
Thanks in advance,
a log of ndiswrapper with DEBUG=5 is availible as
a similar log of ndiswrapper with DEBUG=3 is availible as
with additional outout of lsusb -v. ( the last lsusb -v (after plugging the usb
device) freezes the console.
In both log the single \"echo\" marks the time the usb device is inserted.
about the test system:
Distr: Kanotix (debian sid based) harddisk install.
