A related question: how do I know if I need to provide files which are
archived in a cabinet file? Does ndiswrapper "know" how to extract them
from the cabinets, or is that my job?
Regarding unzip it does work. 'jar' does not, for *.exe files,
apparently. Someone also posted a reference to 'unshield' in this forum
and that led me to the unshield and cabextract cabinet file extraction
utilities. I also played with 7-zip as well. Another set of learning

Maybe wine could help you with .exe's.
unshield is only for .cab files found in installers using *shield (can't
remember the correct name).
Hope this clears some for you..=09
