way I got round the problem was to modify the makefile in the
DRIVER directory of NDISWRAPPER.
If you check the file there is a line that starts OBJS := and
following that there is a list of object files starting with
hal.o and ending with wrapper.o. If you add usb.o to the end
of this list and then re-run the makefile everything should
work out fine."
It worked! Now I have the cheap Airlink router and
"Windows-only" pci card working on my lan. I can now go
install the same system at my daughter's place to connect
their 3 puters.
Thanks to everyone who assisted, especially Keith, who gave
me the exact fix. I don't think I would have ever figured it
out on my own.
