I experienced a similar problem after upgrading to 0.7 and already posted it to this list. Apparently no one else had the problem since I got no response to it. When I started my machine it used to set up my wlan0 interface properly so that it could get its coordinated from a dhcp server. In version 0.7 I have to do a ifdown and ifup to get the wlan0 to gets its address and so on from the dhcp server. It also terminates the connection unpredictable once running. Then I need to stop the network, unload the module, reload the module, start the network, do an ifdown and an ifup in order get WLAN working again. This is somehow anoying. I beleive your and my problem to be connected in one way or the other. Can anybody help us? cu Stefan _______________________________________________________________________ ... and the winner is... How do I turn on debugging. I used ndiswrapper before, version 0.5. I did not have the problem with that version. So I do not think that my access point (refering to your other reply) is causing the trouble. I will do some tests tonight and will let you know what I can find out. I just saw that I am not using version 0.7 but 0.6. Is 0.7 meant to get rid of that behaviour? Thanks in advance for your help. Can you enable debug option and see what is causing it? Could it be hangcheck that is resetting the card? -- Giri |

Oh, and another thing: Is it possible that AP is dropping the connection? You can check in the logs for AP if it is resetting the connection (or itself). Some APs exhibit this problem, which may be fixed by upgrading the firmware of the AP. -- Giri |
