Glad to say that the latest CVS build is working successfully for me. I'm
running Fedora Core 1 with Kernel 2.4.22-1.2129.nptl and a Broadcom 802.11g
wireless card. I do seem to have stumpled upon a bug however. For some
reason, it appears as though there are a lot transmission errors occurring.
The following is a dump of my "iwconfig eth1" (Note the "Invalid misc" and
"Tx excessive retries"):
eth1 IEEE 802.11g ESSID:"default"
Mode:Managed Frequency:2.437GHz Access Point: 00:0D:88:97:B0:6A
Bit Rate=54Mb/s Tx-Power:14 dBm
RTS thr=2347 B Fragment thr=2346 B
Link Quality:98/100 Signal level:-51 dBm Noise level:-256 dBm
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
Tx excessive retries:365 Invalid misc:7575 Missed beacon:0
I have tried 3 different access points and two different windows driver
builds. I believe the problem is somewhere within ndiswrapper. The
manifestation of these errors is seen by slow loading web pages, page
stalls, etc. Any tips or help would be appreciated. Feel free to contact
me for more details.
