Hi I compiled the latest CVS (it was me who reported the 2.4.x compile = problem, now fixed, thanks guys :) and everything *seems* to be working. = Except it isn't. Das blinkenlichten simply don't blinken :( although the = power does light up. I have a prism54 in the same laptop and if I configure that with all the = same iwconfig and ipconfig settings, it works perfectly, so I'm assuming = it's got to be something wrong on the driver level. After setting up my ESSID, mode, and key, iwconfig reports: wlan0 IEEE 802.11g ESSID:"Rich T's Laptop" =20 Mode:Ad-Hoc Frequency:2.462GHz Cell: AE:41:7D:A8:34:56 =20 Bit Rate:11Mb/s Tx-Power:16 dBm =20 RTS thr:2347 B Fragment thr:2346 B =20 Encryption key:0000-0000-00 Security mode:restricted Power Management:off Link Quality:100/100 Signal level:-10 dBm Noise level:-256 = dBm Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0 Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0 "Rich T's Laptop" is the ad-hoc network running on a friend's laptop on = the desk next to mine.
