I have bad news for you; if you are using a system with 64bit kernel, all the drivers have to be 64bit too. You can't use the 32bit one. One way is to get a 64bit driver; I'm quite sure that. On the other hand, a quick googling discovered a mail about this adapter in prism54-devel, so it's possible that it comtains prism54 chipset. There is an experimental driver for such devices at http://jbnote.free.fr/prism54usb .
