I tried the same version 0.11 on kernel 2.6.10_rc2 but it failed to compile saying "too many arguments" for various functions like something like acpi_save etc. I have the complete log in the phpBB forums on ndiswrapper website.

Ahy ideas hw you got it to compile?

    • The module was working fine with 2.6.9 Kernel, but since i change to 2.6.10 i get:

      FATAL: Error inserting ndiswrapper (/lib/modules/2.6.10

Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter

      And the error:

      ndiswrapper: Unknown symbol wireless_send_event

      Any idea..

      Best regards

    • I know now how solve the problem, for me was ver very easy, because accidentally deselect the WIRELESS option in the device drivers -> network kernel config part. Recompile that part and it works... really was not an error... only a human-bug....
If the task_nice is solved let me know

      Regards

I'm having the same problem with 0.12 under the new 2.6.9-1.724_FC3 kernel.

      modprobe ndiswrapper

FATAL: Error inserting ndiswrapper (/lib/modules/2.6.9-1.724_FC3/misc/ndiswrapper.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)

      dmesg | grep ndis

      ndiswrapper: Unknown symbol task_nice

The same version 0.12 worked under the previous kernel, 2.6.9-1.681_FC3. I also tried using the 1.0rc1 and the latest CVS version of ndiswrapper, but those failed during the make.

      Ideas?
