Sorry for my english to.
I got the same problem with my Mandrake 10.1.
Is there any modules to add with modprobe, to install this driver?
when I do :
Installed ndis drivers:
zd1211u driver present, hardware present
When I make a lsmod, I got this message with USB.
lsmod | grep usb
usbcore 103172 5 ndiswrapper,ehci-hcd,uhci-hcd
I think HAHAPAPA use the same usb card like me, it s the card : Trendnet TEW-424UB on USB2 port on my laptop.
This card work with succes with Linuxant driver and the same windows files : zd1211u.inf and *.sys.
We need some help.
thanks for your message.
I got the same environment.
I plugged in to USB2.0 port on my laptop.
ndiswrapper module laoaded ok.
and, i have successfully use on driverloader by same driver.
Sorry again for my ENGLISH (I'm french).
But why you use driverloader and
how do you do to use it ?
I try with recommended option but nothing work.
driverloader - a zd1211u.inf zd11u2k.sys
But it return me an error message.
And I don't find information about error 22 for my problem.
Have you got more chance than me ?
Sorry for my last message.
You use the Linuxant driver like me "driverloader"
Sorry my spirit was on ndiswrapper and a command wich named
ndisloader. I make a mistake.
And yes you arrive at the same conclusion, that we are restrained to use the Linuxant driver with this Zydas chipset.
I found information about zd1211 but in deutchland, but I can't translate. I think it's same in final.
Thank you, if you find something, think about me.
There is a preliminary open source driver for this chipset at http://warder.ath.cx:81/projects.php.
