Many thanks to the developers, using ndiswrapper was a breeze.
built cleanly, documentation from the wiki was well written (must be a 1st for something Linux based), and most importantly, it works.
Am using a Broadcom wireless chipset, using the recent Microsoft 64bit XP driver, and Gentoo Linux running a 64bit kernel. :-)
I can use my single wireless card now under Linux (32 bit or 64bit), or XP (32bit or 64bit). Very happy.
Had 1 kernel lock, amd going to get the latest post 1.0 CVS, see if it helps, but it looking very promising so far..
Hmm, spoke too soon, the kernel locks have come back with a vengance :-( (posted in the help forum, for more details).
