ndiswrapper -i bcmwl5.inf (cmd not found)

  • Tate

Hello I typed the above command after install...

I was logged in as su during the whole manual istall. makeclean, make and make install all seemed to go ok.

my fedora core 6 command prompt.. sais, command not found. Am i overlooking something?

i Have the drivers located in /wlan/DRIVERS (the inf file is there)

i figured the intall went ok.. becuase i typed "man ndiswrapper" and it comes up ok.

    • try the full path to ndiswrapper, like:
      /usr/sbin/ndiswrapper -i bcmwl5.inf

/usr/sbin and /sbin are directories where the super user (su) commands are installed.
Perhaps Fedora does not include them in your path, or you typed in "su" instead of "su -" when becoming root.
