I am using the latest SVN build of NDISwrapper on openSUSE 10.3. I have a Dell 1390 Mini PCIe card (Broadcom 4311). I went to Dell.com and downloaded the latest drivers for the card and installed them in NDISwrapper. I can connect to WEP, WPA, and WPA2 encrypted networks, but I cannot correctly connect to un-encrypted networks. I use wicd (http://wicd.sf.net) to connect to wireless networks. I can only connect to un-encrypted networks by telling wicd that the network is encrypted, even though it is not.

P.S. Wicd uses dhclient for unencrypted networks and wpa_supplicant for encryted networks.
