v0.1 has been released for a week or so now, and I also have put v0.1a and
v0.1b patches out there to fix a few minor bugs I found.
I am currently working on a text-based version of the program. It will be
titled ndismonitor-text. (catchy huh! lol) I will probably rename the gui
ndismonitor, ndismonitor-gui when I release the text version... The text
version will use the ncurses library, but I'm pretty sure most linux
distros come with ncurses now-a-days... I am using ncurses, because I
would rather not write my own functions to do display boxes and text menus
and things like that. (Why re-invent the wheel, if it's already working
Anyway, I have the basic outline of the program almost done, and just need
to copy some of the main routines from the gui over to it and modify them
and it will work. It works through ssh or telnet also, which will be nice
for ME, as I don't always connect to my computer through VNC, and will now
still be able to see the stats whenever I want, in a nice format...
There have been 172 downloads of ndismonitor/patches now, thanks everyone
for trying it out!!!
Codito, Ergo Sum...
I code, therefore I am...
