Hello,

So I am trying to optimize the cpu horse power we have by using multiple threads through mpi. I have tried to build this for a while now and I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I have attached my environment, gmake output and configure output.

Sorry, you are not doing anything wrong. The MPI executables have not been supported for many years. Version 3.1.0 may be the last one. In any case, they do not appreciably speed-up most scripts because disk I/O limits the throughput. We will revive the MPI code when we have the resources. closing this bug for now.
