    Hi guys,

    I'm having trouble using the ncap2 function.

    I'm running:
    ncap2 -S iTest2.nco jans.nc

    jans.nc is a 192 by 288 grid (t = 1).

    iTest2.nco reads:

    var_out=bilinear_interp(pr,0.3,78.98,54.876,lon,lat);
    print(var_out);

    were pr is the variable in jans.nc

    I'm getting the error:
    ncap2: ERROR dimension time is not in list of dimensions available to nco_var_fll()
    ncap2: HINT This could be a symptom of TODO nco1045. Workaround is avoid use of append mode (i.e., -A switch) in ncap2.

    I'm having a difficult time figuring out what I'm doing wrong. Any ideas? - I'm a very new user.

    thanks
    Yoshi

    I think I figured out the problem:

    The dimensions of jans.nc is 1x192x288 - looks like I need to somehow squeeze the degenerate dimension out.
