Hi, I am using multislabbing climate model projection files to change latitude from a 0-362 positive grid to a -180 to 180.
ncks -O -v tos,i,j --msa_usr_rdr -d i,183.,362. -d i,0.,182. tos_Omon_CNRM-CM5_historical_r1_1850-2005.nc tos_Omon_CNRM-CM5_rcp26_WSG2.nc
ncap2 -O -s "where(i > 180) i=i-360" tos_Omon_CNRM-CM5_rcp26_WSG.nc tos_Omon_CNRM-CM5_rcp26_WSG.nc
These commands work, but I am not able to see the output in a netcdf viewer (I'm using Panoply), it's seems once I do the reordering it can't interpret the file anymore and I just want to check my syntax is correct and I won't have trouble later on - I then calculate climatologies, anomalies (historical and predictions), reproject in CDO and then I import to ARcGIS to do spline with barriers interpolation.
syntax looks good to me. maybe panoply does not like -180,+183 grids?
Thanks, Panopply will read the original NC grid, but not after multislabbing. Hopefully someone in the forum has had some experience working with these data. I am not sure if I need to change something in the headers or file description.
