  • I wanted to say that I was very impressed with your tool. I checked other tools and found that yours was the most responsive, attractive and useful.

    Keep up the good work. One thing I did want to note is there is no pointer support (*), even under C#.

    I am using UML at a higher level than language support, and it's not a big deal, but by adding that (and possibly the ability to put const at the beginning and the end) would basically add support for C++ (though without the code generation, which I am not using the tool for).

    For example, for anyone reading this, this is a valid declaration in C++:

        const char *doSomething(const char *data) const;

    Yes, there is no pointer support in NClass. (In C#, this hasn't been a problem as pointers are rarely used.) It was easier to me to skip pointer checking while parsing field and method declarations.

    But you are right on this issue, so I may add pointer support in the future, pobably along with the C++ language.
