Quite honestly, although BeOS users using Napster for BeOS think it great that they don't have to share their own files, in order to grab other's files, it is but the basic creed of Napster to give as well as recieve.

I would feel much better giving my files to other users, all the while telling them, "Hey, i'm using BeOS to give you that file. I'm using this really neat Napster for BeOS."

I hope it's a future request...

    Well ... actually, not even Windows users have to share their files if they don't want to. Just because the installer for Windows tries to make you share, doesn't mean you have to accept the defaults. This is a question of morality, and not software development. I know plenty of people with minimal bandwidth who share nothing, but download lots. I agree, this is not nice, and does not promote sharing. People who don't share need to watch more Barney. That's all there is to it.
