Nagstamon 0.9.10-devel not crashing on MacOS X anymore

The 0.9.9 release of Nagstamon introduced a bug which effectively prevented it from running on MacOS X. The current development version 0.9.10-devel fixes that bug aside improvements with Check-MK cookie based auth and Icinga JSON requests. Nagstamon 0.9.9 released

The list of new features includes custom actions, reauthentication in case of authenticaton problems, a filter for flapping hosts and services, a history button for monitors, and a shortcut to filter settings in the popup window. Nagstamon 0.9.9 RC17 released

Final Nagstamon 0.9.8 released

Nagstamon 0.9.8 has been released and comes with new features like customizable acknowledge/downtime/submit defaults, regexp filter for status information column, option to connect to hosts via its monitor hostname without HTTP overhead, ability to keep status detail popup open despite hovering away and an option to change offset between popup window and systray icon to avoid partly hidden popup. Bugfixes include some fixed popup artefacts, various bugs with acknowledgement flags so they are actually working now and some issues when running on MacOS X. Nagstamon 0.9.8 RC1 released

On its way to Nagstamon 0.9.8 a first relase candidate has been published. Beside tons of bugfixes which include less flickering popup window, less artefacts, working play buttons, finally working acknowledgement options and the likes there are new features too like customizable Acknowledgement/Downtime/Submit options, ability to connect to hosts/services via Nagios hostname and regexp filter for status information. Nagstamon for MacOSX available

Nagstamon now runs kind of natively on MacOSX via ZeroInstall (http://0install.net/), using its PyGTK integration. Help testing the unstable SVN version available at http://sourceforge.net/projects/nagstamon/files/nagstamon/SVN/Nagstamon.dmg.

Nagstamon 0.9.7 released

Nagstamon 0.9.7 now allows on some servers submitting check results for hosts and services via context menu. It comes with an added filter for services on acknowledged hosts and icons for "passiveonly" and "flapping" hosts and services. It contains important bugfixes: for uneditable text entry fields in settings dialog - sf.net bug 3300873, for not working filter "services on hosts in maintenance" - sf.net bug 3299790, for soft state detection in Centreon - sf.net bug 3303861 and for not filtered services which should have been filtered - sf.net bug 3308008.

Nagstamon 0.9.6 released

The new Nagstamon 0.9.6 comes with improved full Ninja support. A rewritten filtering mechanism allows new features like displaying icons in status overview popup indicating the states "acknowledged" and "scheduled downtime" for hosts and services. An added option allows to play notification sounds more than once. Nagstamon now uses BeautifulSoup instead of lxml and GTK UI Builder instead of glade to get rid of some dependencies. Beside small UI improvements it includes as always minor and major bugfixes.

Nagstamon 0.9.5 released

Nagstamon 0.9.5 comes with added support for Op5 Monitor and Check_MK/Multisite. The support for Icinga 1.3 and Centreon 2.1 has been improved. Status overview popup now comes with sortable columns. The colors in status overview popup are now customizable. Debugging is now easier with full error messages. Password must not be stored in config file. As always there have been various bugs fixed and a major memory leak has been closed.

Nagstamon 0.9.5 RC1 released

The release candidate 1 of the next Nagstamon version 0.9.5 has been released. As always it includes major bug fixes and new features, which include the ability to connect to Centreon 2.1.x servers and latest Icinga servers, changeable sort order in popup window, better debugging and error messages and the ability not to store passwords locally.

Nagstamon 0.9.4 released

Nagios status monitor Nagstamon 0.9.4 comes with support for Centreon servers (beta) with enabled Nagios interface. Nagios 1.x support is also added. Nagstamon 0.9.3 with Opsview support released

Nagstamon now includes the ability to connect to Opsview monitoring servers. A "Recheck all" button was added to recheck all failing hosts and services by one click. Now it is possible to toggle notifications by state. HTTP Digest authentication was added. Recognition of customized host IP information was added (see SF.net bug 2967416). GUI responsiveness has been increased. Bugs in update interval mechanism and some minor bugs had been fixed.
