I compiled the plugins myself, with openssl from www.sunfreeware.com. You can check if check_http has ssl support by ":/check_http --ssl -H <hostname>" If it pukes about not having ssl support, you have to recompile. /magnus -----Original Message----- From: emily zhou [mailto:zh...@al...] Sent: 28 November 2002 19:59 To: Pettersson, Magnus Cc: nag...@li... Subject: Re: [Nagios-users] NAGIOS on SunOS 5.8 (SunFire) Hi Magnus, I's just wondering where I can find the openssl plugins, how did you manage ssl using check_http, I guess for port 443? I tried to monitor 443, but it's not working on my Solaris 8 platform, could you give me some clue? Thank you in advance. --Emily "Pettersson, Magnus" wrote: > I had 2 issues earlier (about a year ago), when running Netsaint on > solaris. Both issues were with the plugins.I had a hard time to get > check_http to work with --ssl ( but finally managed, should be easier > with the new openssl also)I did not get check_ldap to compile./magnus > > -----Original Message----- > From: Naman Latif [mailto:nam...@in...] > Sent: 21 November 2002 22:22 > To: nag...@li... > Subject: [Nagios-users] NAGIOS on SunOS 5.8 (SunFire) > > > Hi, > I am going to install NAGIOS on Solaris 8 Platform.
