Hi, a complete newbee here.
I have two machines, one I use for development and one I use daily which has on it the applications I develop.
I have just completed a small .net development using mySqlDriverCS, using visual studio 2005 and including the mySQLDriverCS dll. The development machine has the mySQLDriver installed and the app works fine.
When I installed the application on my daily machine, the dll was installed properly but the application failed. I had to install the driver on that machine as well. Probably stupid, but I imagined the dll would be enough.
Have I missed something? Or is it true that the driver must be on the target machine as well as the dll?
yet another newbie...
Got the same problem.
Is there a way to use mySQLDrive on different Machines without an installation?
