First, thanks for a very useful piece of software.
My question is this:
Is there any way to control the logging options of MyPasswords?
Use case: I store a MyPasswords in a SpiderOak account and then use it from several different computers (mac, ubuntu 10.04, and Win7). However, when I enter the database password incorrectly, but very near correct, this is saved in the log file and subsequently stored in the cloud. This results in recording a password that is only one charter away from the actual password and then mirroring it across several other computers which is an obvious security concern.
Is there a way to change the settings.properties file to add a line to turn off the logging feature or to simply report a failed attempt but not the password that was passed?
Thanks for your help.
