If you specify a port number for your SQL connection in the config file (host:port), sql_open() correctly notices this and uses it. However, the port information in the host variable is lost when portp is set to null, which causes the sql_reopen() function to fail or connect to the wrong port due to the lack of port information available in the _sql_host static variable. I have verified this is the case in version 0.11.0 and 1.0.0. I made a quick hack in sql_open() to set the _sql_host variable before the port info is stripped off which fixes the problem, but I'm sure there's a better fix for this. --George |
