Hoping this is the proper place to post.
Mvpmc - High Bitrate Recordings - when playing High
Bitrate DVB streams they stutter and jerk at certain
scenes.
This is not the case using the Hauppauge dongle - which
has perfect playback. The files in question have
variant bitrates occasionaly up to 6.5 (as reported by
mvpmc)
One is a Raw Dec2000-T stream recording - the other is
the same recording having been processed in Videoredo
pro 2.1. they are 720*576 pixels
I have entered the registry optimization setting as
supplied in the Windows Howto .
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters
Create a SizReqBuf value using the following information:
ValueName: SizReqBuf
DataType: REG_DWORD
Value(Decimal): 33000
I also have the registry setting as supplied by
hauppauge installed
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters]
"TcpWindowSize"=dword:000f4240
"Tcp1323Opts"=dword:00000001
Logged In: YES
user_id=1471443
I may have found a quickfix for this (more testing required
- both time consuming and tedious)
Method:
Installed the latest Beta version of the Hauppauge software
2.5 23209 for the MedaiMVP. Replaced dongle.bin with mvpmc
dongle.
Initial results promising will test some more when at home.
