We released beta2 last week, which fixed all known bugs in beta1 (of
which there were a few), and which on Win32 included Qt 4.6 and updated
OpenSSL to ensure future compatibility with these. So far, the bug
reports we've been getting for beta2 are mostly related to user errors
or third party programs interfering with Mumble -- it seems we are
stable enough for mass distribution.
So, barring any late bugs that require a lot of rethinking, the plan is
to release 1.2.0 final this Thursday evening. If you need partial ts
file updates, the last opportunity for that is Tuesday evening, and
we'll start packaging the final release around 20:00 CET on Thursday.
So, if you have any polishing to do, now is the time.
If your translation is currently unfinished (missing more than 100
source strings), please let us know if you want us to include the
partial work or not. It's impossible for us to determine if the partial
translation is more or less confusing than untranslated English., so if
your translation is unfinished, and we haven't heard back from you by
Thursday, we'll have to disable the translation for the 1.2.0 final release.
If you have time to spare, look over the translation of installer strings
and the version check strings
Thank you all for your hard work so far :)
