Hi Dev Team,

we use Mumble for some Phone conferences and would need an option for votings. I have seen in some comercial applications a "Raise Hand" option. It means that each client can by pressing a button send a signal which is shown in all other clients with name. So a moderator can see that someone like to speak. Also if more then one client click the button a number shows a total of raised hands to get an overview about the voting. The button should be like a radio button which can released by the client.
So it is possible to hold moderated conferences with a good disciplin and perform elections/votings

Thanx for reading
Thomas

Good idea, we'll try to look into this.

This should be possible with Ice scripts from version 1.2.4 on as well.
Through adjusted context menus (right click) or channel messages (!raisehand command or sth) one could raise hand.
Additional management and giving voice could be handled by a web-interface, which also shows who rose hands dynamically (just posting messages will not be very clear).
