I've compiled murmur by myself using an debian lenny. Kernel version is 2.6.9. Additionally i'm using a mysql databaseserver. Running murmur works fine, until i set via -supw a superuser password. ( Compiled with QT 4.3.2) The database tables in mysql are correctly set up by the murmur server and seems to be okay.
I'm not sure where to search :(
Possibly anyone can give me a hint?
oh well, shame on me. The option -supw only sets the password and then exits, i think i should read the docs better :)
Thanks for your help :)
A good start would be to say which version you are compiling.
This is a known and documented problem. Either use the SVN version, set dbPrefix to something or stick with SQLite (which is strongly recommended).
Ah okay i havent seen that this is a known issue sorry. Well i tried using the svn version incl. using only the sql-lite edition. Did you mean that the option -supw does not work`?
Thank you morti
