Mumble

On my desktop (but not on my wireless laptop) mumble has started disconnecting and reconnecting every few minutes. I have tried uninstalling Mumble and scrubbing the registry with RevoUninstaller and reinstalling Mumble. I have even tried upgrading from Mumble 1.2.3a to the Beta 1.2.4 but it has not made a difference. I also made sure Windows 7 updates were all up to date, and tried reducing the input quality in Mumble settings. Until 2 days ago Mumble worked perfectly on this computer. The cable is not anywhere that it is in danger of being damaged. We have a cat that ensures no mice, etc. Everything else on my computer works at full and constant capacity.
