#40 m_dprintf error when running sylogd 1.09d

When running syslogd I get the following error:
ld.so.1: ./syslogd: fatal: relocation error:
file /opt/msyslog/lib/alat/libmsyslog.so.1.09d: symbol
m_dprintf: referenced symbol not found
Killed

This is running on a Solaris 9 system and was compiled
with gcc 3.2 and using the latest gnu binutils. The
compile completed cleanly after some modifications of
some file names(mv imfile.c to im_file.c) and creating an
empty file PLIST.in in packaging/OpenBSD/pkg. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.
