#12 gdb problem

I am using the latest version of mspgcc with Insight
version win32-20021222. I have no problem compiling,
downloading and debugging either my own code or many
of the examples, however when I compile and download
the eventhandler & schedular demo from
mspgcc\examples\libraries\eventhandler\ all goes well
until I try to load the .elf file, then Insight
complains, exits and eventually ends up with the
message :-
"sect_index_data not initialised" what am I doing
wrong?
My target board is the msp430-449stk from Olimex.
