    Hi,

    I decided to try mspgcc on Windows Vista so downloaded "mspgcc-20081230.exe" and installed it with all defaults. (Had Cygwin installed but removed it before mspgcc installation.)

    My attempt to try it out stopped when trying to compile a minimal program:

    int main() { return 0; }

    This was the command:
    msp430-g++ -g -O2    test.cpp   -o test.exe

    And this was the error:
    msp430-g++: installation problem, cannot exec `cc1plus': No such file or directory

    "msp430-g++ --version" gives:
    msp430-g++ (GCC) 3.2.3

    My directory C:\mspgcc\bin is in the PATH variable but it does not contain any "cc1plus" program.

    Anybody have any idea on what is going on here?

    Best regards,
    Peter Jansson

      There is a "cc1plus" program in "C:\mspgcc\lib\gcc-lib\msp430\3.2.3". Perhaps that directory should be included in the PATH during installation of mspgcc?
