Hi the fix I applied to the code worked at home, but refuses to work at work. We don't have Arial UNicode MS (or Arial Unicode) even though we have MIcrosft Office - I also tried specifying Lucida Sans Unicode as we we have that. Please can you point me to the bit of the code that specifies what character to use, and I'll try and find a workaround for the fonts we do have or perhaps with images? I will of course share any workarounds I come up with with you.

Thanks
yorkie

  • Search for "cross" in Themes/default/header.inc.

I have a feeling we may have to move to images.

Managed to do a workaround setting specific font of Wingdings 2 (also size of 1.5em and weight of 700) in the CSS file and characters O and P for cross and checkmark respectively. I did try to do it with an image, but my expertise is not quite high enough and it's getting late.

Obviously specifying Wingdings 2 is not good practice, but as all in our office have MS Office, it should suffice for now, until I can work out how to do images.

I think this can be marked as closed, as 1.4.9 has resolved this.

    Many thanks

  • Good that it's now working, but I can't think of anything in 1.4.9 that has changed to make it work. Did you install 1.4.9 on the same system that was previously failing? I'll leave this open for the time being.
