I am using CAS to authenticated to do this I had to set the following settings:
$auth["session"] = "remote_user";
$auth["type"] = "none";
The other change I had to make was to change the contents of the .htaccess file to
AuthName "CAS Login"
Now users can login and have access to everything but when going to book something it redirects back to the default view but never actually makes the booking. No error messages at all. The same sort of things happen when admins try to make any changes to rooms or areas (add, edit or delete).
I am assuming that this is because of changes made to the htaccess but I am not sure how to edit it to solve this problem.
This happens on both 1.4.6 and 1.4.5 I have not tried any older versions.
