Thank you Karrie.

The durations on the day.php ‘calendar’ and edit_entry.php ‘add entry’ are successfully set to 30 minutes.

Both the start time and end time lists are in 30 minute increments.

So we can successfully set a meeting for a 30 minute duration from the ‘add entry’ form.

Does your post also solve the problem I defined?

The original settings for the default duration is in the “” file (you don’t edit this file). You should be able to add the following to your “” file. Note this will change in any new rooms/areas that are created.
// Default duration - default length (in seconds) of a booking.
// Defaults to (60 * 60) seconds, i.e. an hour
$default_duration = (30 * 60);  // DEFAULT VALUE FOR NEW AREAS
To change the default duration for an entry, you’ll need to change the default duration value on the room/area (edit_area_room.php)…which will then apply to all future entries in that room.

Subject: [MRBS-general] ‘add entry’ end time setting?
We have successfully set the day.php calendar to meetings of 30 minute duration.
When I ‘add entry’ – edit_entry.php – for any start time, the end time is by default always for a 60 minute duration. I then manually select a 30 minute duration from the list.
Is there a setting so the default ‘add entry’ end time will also be for 30 minute duration?
Thank you,
