AMD GEODE chipset cs5535 sound is very like AC'97, but I can't execute MPXplay for dos with sound.

Hm, it was just a fortune that I've found this "feature request"...

The answer is: sorry, probably I will not develop the DOS related parts of Mpxplay, so I will not work any soundcard support neither... I already use Mpxplay under Win only, just I still make/compile a DOS version too...

btw. the AC97 is just a mixer standard, unlike Intel HDA

so what me to do? I need only dos supported functions as save in cmos and quick load. i build car audio computer with ssd system disk. and install Win xp with sound drivers and EWF driver, but MPXPLAY not write in cmos song position. I not quit from mpxplay, just power off. And all info about position I can't write to ssd because it will short MTBF. May be you can make something for write in cmos under win? I know that is direct port write problem. But sometimes it will solved with UserPort service. And same problem with LPT.

what it to do me? on my first link all information about chip. if you want Ven_id and Dev_id I wrote it to you
