I use a flash drive that is sometimes write-protected to prevent infection or 'sanitization' by overeager A/V scanners. As such, I'd like to keep mpxplay from writing to mpxplay.ini/.cue before it exits; under Windows 7, it produces multiple dialogs and system beeps if these files can't be written.
Could you add a command-line option to have mpxplay skip writing out anything upon exit? It would help a lot for the way I listen to audio in different ways on various PCs.
Thanks for a great program.
UseVariables=1 and StartupType =0 (in mpxplay.ini global section) have to do this, but I haven't tried it. Let me know if it's not enough, I'll look around then.
This works great. Also, the app is small enough that I could put copies in two directories (one configured as read-write and one as read-only) in case I wanted to run it in different modes. Thanks!
