hi there, i've got an issue with the plugin: it can't read mp3 files that are 40kbps... it seems to load the file, but then just states "stopped". although i just have downloaded and installed the latest version (3.21), it still doesn't work. if you want to check the bug yourself, just go to www.technodj.de and search for "hemmann", then click on the record "ep 2" and listen to one of the tracks. in fact, the bug should appear everytime you want to listen to a record that's been released after 2006-01-20, but this one surely doesn't work. regards, kevin |

BUT keep reading.... However, if you right click and select "save" and then right click and select "Play" it works properly... VERY VERY odd all the save does is to copy it from /tmp to your home directory and rename it to the name given by the site... I wonder if adding the extension to the file will fix it... Quick test and it does... mimetype is audio/mp3 we have to do the same stupid fix up for midi files as well.. Added the fix into the code and checked it... that fixes it... change will be in CVS in a few hours. Excellent write up for what the problem was and how to duplicate it.
