Is it possible to set the color of the blank rectangle for the mplayer
My background is black, and the rectangle is white. It takes mplayer a
few seconds to begin playing the video. That white rectangle really
sticks out. It would be nice to be able to set the color, or better
yet, to provide a splash screen until mplayer starts up.
Right now all it displays is the little bit of text that says "loading"
or something similar.

That is something I am working on... getting a little better UI for the
plugin.. Been long time since I have done any X programming so it is going a
little slow at the moment..

Try mozplugger with the plugger test site and see if it works ok. I have be=
unable to make it work in streaming mode. It is a prime example of NP_FULL=
This command should fail as well
While this works
mplayer -cache 65535 http://fredrik.hubbe.net/plugger/test.mov
The second command basically downloads the whole file prior to playing, so=
that is not really streaming. I tested the plugin trying to do streaming in=
NP_FULL mode and it just does not work that well.
