Nicolas, So your saying that the X mode and GTK2 modes look exactly the same? If so you need to get the gtk2 development kits. You can verify what mode the plugin is in by looking in the Makefile and looking for the ENABLED_GTK, ENABLED_GTK2 or ENABLED_X flag. The X mode option of the plugin - the one you are using does not have all the nice features that the plugin offers. Compare your screen with the screen shots for version 2.50 on the web page and you'll what I am talking about.
