Hi,
this is a problem which has nothing to do with the browser: verified a serious issue on Firefox, Chromium, Konqueror and Epiphany (GNOME).
I presume it has something to do with a WMP/Flash interaction, but not sure.
Just try this:
http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/window/media/page/0,,3569686-8888307,00.html
Will ALWAYS cause a crash here.
Firefox/Epiphany: full crash.
Chromium: "The following plug-in has crashed: Windows Media Player Plug-in"
Flash Player 11.2, mplayer-plugin 3.55, based on mplayer 1.0.rc3-4-4-4.
I know mplayer is older, I saw that 3.55 is now 4 years old, so that should fit! :)
I'd really love to see this fixed, it's very annoying.
Unfortunately I cannot post a bugzilla entry because, as I said, it has nothing to do with Firefox directly.

Well, mplayerplug-in is really not supported anymore. It had been replaced with gecko-mediaplayer. The site does not crash with gecko-mediaplayer (although it does not appear to work either, not sure why yet). So is there any reason why you must you mplayerplug-in and not a plugin with more features and more bug fixes?
