You might not be able to see this in the screenshot but I did use the IE WinXP user agent ID. That usually works for most sites. Up to what version of Windows Media can MPlayer plugin play?
The error message is interesting, in that I don't get it with gecko-mediaplayer. However, it seems that the video behind that link is now gone.
I tried http://www.videodetective.com/titledetails.aspx?fmt=3&Publishedid=649273 with gecko-mediaplayer and it seemed to work fine.
I didn't have to use the User Agent tool at all. Just normal firefox 2.
Thanks for that link. I tested it and that worked fine, as long as I used the MPlayer plugin's "Play" button, then the video just played fine. If I tried to use the page's play button, then I get that stupid message, even though I tried the FF 1.5 user agent this time.
