Prior to the latest release (2.0b7) I was able to resize windows in MPlayer and the video would stretch to new dimensions of the window. Now when I do this, the playback window goes black and doesn't come back unless I do a full screen, then back to normal mode. Aspect ratio is set to default. Size is set to normal. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

i'd like to second this request. i just d/led a movie in anamorphic format and i'd like to stretch it to its proper dimensions. thank you.

Go to mplayer's preferences and temporarily change the Aspect ratio pop-up menu to 16:9 and then you should see it properly.
