I now have a small linux machine with a BT878 capture card with 3
cameras at a remote location but still connected to the main building
with a 100Mb LAN. In the main location I have the main linux machine
running motion with a number of other cameras.
So I am now considering whats the best method for sending the output
from 3 cameras at the remote location to the main machine - naturally
I'm thinking of using motion for this on the remote machine as well.
I'm guessing the real question is whether it would be best to disable
motion detection on the 3 remote motion threads and simply have the
main motion machine pick up each camera as a netcam using each
camera's motion http address, or to do a constant jpg dump into a NFS
shared directory, or some 3rd option ?
