Hello, I've been enjoying 'motion' for several weeks now, and I'm very grateful for the software. I was wondering if there is a way to put a link on the webcam page (i.e., mydomain.com:8081) to a web page I made to archive the video clips? That way I could make the webcam page part of a home video web site. Yours, Chris |

I assume the port 8081 is the mjpeg webcam stream. This is not a webpage as such but a stream. The webcam port sends headers for a mjpeg stream. Not html. The control port is HTML but it will be suicide to have public access to the Motion control port. You may as well give people a command prompt access then. You need to create a webpage that contains the stream. This is best done with the cambozola java applet. And this webpage can contain anything else you want. If you use the mjprox program that I have made you can even stream the mjpeg on port 80 via your webserver.
