Hi, > hi there all... still looking for a way to save all images to remote ftp > location.... dont know much about coding or programming but it cant be that > difficult to execute a save to ftp command on image creation... any ideas on > how to set up such a command are welcome Well, using Slackware 11.0, with comes with ncftp, you can send a file to a ftp server using a single line like this: ncftpput -uusername -ppassword ip.of.ftp.server \ remote_dir_name/ local_name_file I am sure that exists a lot of other ways to do that, but it is one that I thought now, in a rush. You can combine this command, with a little of shell script and with on_event directives of motion. I think it will work. I now it is not a lot of help, but, if it helps, I can try to help more, asap. Regards. Freitas |

The first argument to the script will be the filename so you could do something like (using ncftpput as Freitas suggests): #!/bin/bash FILE=${1} ncftpput -uUSER -pPASS ftp.server.dom remote/dir/ ${FILE} #end of script -- Please keep list traffic on the list.
